    Firefox Browser

Does anyone here use the Firefox Browser to read the site and boards?
I am interested in whether it is a better browser.
I am thinking of adding a down load to the site.

    RE: Firefox Browser

Switched quite a while ago to just using Firefox.
Switched because of the less likelyhood of picking up stuff especially hacked into Netscape and explorer.

    RE: Firefox Browser

I've used the Firefox browser for 3 months and I find it to be superior to Microsoft Internet explorer. It has a lot of conveniences built in.

OK, you can now download the Firefox Browser and support Fishin.com by going to the main contents page and downloading the Firefox Browser with the Google Toolbar.
I am going to download it later today.

Jim I've been using it for about 2 years. It is hands down more stable and faster loading than MSIE, although MSIE 7 is an improvement.

The best thing about Firefox is the add-ins. Here's a good list of them:

tinyurl is one of my favorite add-ins. One right click and

    becomes

The only drawback to Firefox I've experienced is that poor web design can sometimes cause problems with display.

    RE: Firefox Browser

Been using Firefox for a long time. It is a better browser for several reasons, although one has to keep IE around just in case. Some web sites choke on Mozilla and you have to use IE for the site work right. Fishin.com works fine with Mozilla.

    RE: Firefox Browser

I switched to Firefox years ago. I wouldn't go back to IE.

For those sites that don't play well with Firefox, there's a plug-in you can install to Firefox that allows you to open a page as it would appear in IE. There's an icon in the lower corner and you just click on it if Firefox isn't working so well.

    Here's where to install:

    https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/35/

I can't remember the last page I couldn't open with Firefox, though.

I've been using it for 2 years, like it just fine. Haven't used IE for 2 years. No issues with this site or any others that I can think of.
