I am hosting a fishing tournament on Dale Hollow on February 3, 2007. The tournament will start at 7:00am est and run until 5pm est. The tournament will start and end at the Trooper Island dock. I have reserved the Island for people to stay if anyone is interested, on a first come first serve basis. However, the counselor's cabins are reserved for the tournament officials. I am trying to coordinate a buffet with the state lodge on Friday night at a reasonable cost. The tournament is a fund raiser for Trooper Island and half of the entry fees collected will be dontated to the Island and the other half will be paid out to the winners.

Participants will be allowed to fish with live or artificial baits. We did this last year and no fish were killed using live bait. The tournament is unique in the fact that we will have three winners. The way the tournament is set up is that each participant will pay a $20 entry fee for each specie(smallmouth, largemouth or spot)/ per person. So if you enter for all three it will cost $60 or if you just fish for smallies it will cost $20. The choice is yours to make. You can fish as many people out of your boat that you want.
