    Shad Tanks

I am looking to get a shad tank, probably between 20 and 30 gallons. The ones I have looked at on line are very expensive. Does anybody have any recommendations or advice? I could use and would greatly appreciate some.

    RE: Shad Tanks

don't skimp on a quality tank especially if you plan on keeping gizzards or other "dirty" bait-fish. If you only plan to use if for alwives you can get a way with a tank with a less than stellar filtration system - but - you'll still need a well insulated tank for year round use and most of those have good filtration systems. if you're tight on room go with the Greyline. If room/weight aren't an issue go with the Super Bait Tank II by Vest. The Vest tank has a separate filtration compartment so the 30 gallon is about the same size as the 50 gallon Greyline. I don't know anyone with a Bluewater tank but it looks like a quality tank too.
