Fished a local T at Barren today in a cold, hard driving rainstorm. I met a guy fishing along the same bluff about 11:00am. It's pounding rain, water's leaking down the neck of my rainsuit, and it's been a long time since I could feel my hands or face. As we swing around each other the dude says with a straight face "Recon it's gonna rain today?". "Good chance of it" I tell him. He said he had a keeper, I told him I had one worth seeing, and we kept on fishing.

8:00am-12:30pm had a 14" smallie, a 2 lb LM, a LM just over 4 lbs, and some short fish, all slow rolling a crawfish pattern crankbait. I fished straight into the teeth of the wind and rain on main lake bluffs in muddy, choppy 47-48 degree water.

Pastorbass, I need your tee shirt size. As you know the Coybows beat themselves yesterday, and I'll be holding you to our little wager. I can't stand the Cowboys, but I actually cringed a little watching them lose on a blown FG no longer than an extra point. Rough to see anyone lose like that, even the Cowpies. Anyhoo, my 4 year old daughter and I will be custom making your new fishing apparel as soon as you give me the size. (If it's XXXXL and XX tall, I'll take it easy on the ribbing.)
