I don't have to worry about this, I have good scales and I use them on EVERY really good fish I catch before releasing the fish, I DON'T GUESS. Oh by the way my scales are very accurate they have been crossed checked and I have two different pairs I use to cross reference with each other. I tell ya what, I can guess smallmouth weights extremely close most of the time, I do so before I weigh THEM ON SCALES. Where are you going with all this anyway???
