    RE: THE CORRECT WEIGHT

    Hey,

I've had the same problem with the digital scales. Mine is a rapala also. I had a good fish one day that just looked bigger than it weighed on the scale, so I decided to check it. I went to the grocery and bought a 4 lb bag of sugar, but had the clerk weigh it on her scale there at the register. It weighted less than a 1/4 of an ounce off of 4 lbs even. I knew the bag of sugar was right so I went home and got the scales. It weighed 9 ounces light on a regular basis. Everytime it would weigh light. ??? I've got to where in tournament fishing 9/10 times I'm using a culling beam. let the weight do it. The heavier fish goes down. As far as a good scale? who knows I would have thought Rapala would've had a little better Quality. Good Luck

    ***GOD BLESS***

    RE: THE CORRECT WEIGHT

I had a Rapala scale and checked it with a weight and it was right on. I have also heard that the IGAF (I think that is what it is) will certify your scale to the exact weight.

    RE: THE CORRECT WEIGHT

I had a Rapala scale and let me say that as far as I'm concerned it is a piece of junk. It never, and I repeat never, weighed anything close to accureate. Wouldnt buy anotherone if my life depended on it. My brother bought me a Berkley digital scale for christmas and it weighs dead on, almost no error in the weight.

    Keep on chuckin'
