I'm interested; please post the article. Thanks.
Thats 2 of us interested, I've just recently became interested in striper fishing and will take any info I can get:-)
Make it three!
Andrew,
would putting only one hooked jig and letting it go about a foot behind the other teasers be a good Idea.. The idea being that the "slower" bait would appear to be weaker in not keeping up with the school?
Jim Dicken
I've been thinking about using them myself, but I would have to get some bigger rods and reels, what do you guys suggest for pulling these rigs?
Thanks for the info
I've been using Penn GTI30 reels, 30# mono, and heavy ugly stick rods.
Andrew
Give me a call or drop me a line. I will be glad to answer any questions you may have on the topic. There is really too much info for me to type. The U-rig is VERY effective when used properly.

Hey guys....give cumberland pro a yell...he makes absolutely the best umbrella rigs on the market!!!! Get the one with 9 jigs on it....use 30 lb test line, heavy action ugly stik rods.....I have literally caught a ton of stripers on Brian's rigs. You da man!!!! Not only will he give you a quality product, he'll tell you how to use it. Hey, Brian, I need a 1 ounce in blue/chartruese....just send it by Ralph! Hell, make it 2 of them.
OOOPs....guess this will help...My name is Mike Taylor LOL.
Thanks Mike. Think I saw you on the water about 2 weeks ago. Do you have a red and silver boat? I was in the Ranger Reata 1850 with the inclosed top. It rained almost all day. That was a tuff day. There were 8 or 9 boats fishing live bait that day. I never saw any of them put a fish in the boat. We did manage to put 13 in the boat with 4 keepers. They were running a little smaller than what we had been catching. 3 of the keepers were in the 10 pound range and 1 around the 15 mark. We have really caught some quality fish over the past month. When I get caught up around here I will update the website with some pics of the 20+ pounders we caught. I took my employee and her husband one day and they put a 22,23, and a 26 pounder in the boat. If you have any you would like to send me I will post them as well.
I have been striper fishing for secveral years now and have to say that the new Striper Spinner Jigs, by Cumberlandpro Lures, has been a great asset to my fishing.
Try the new U-rig and experiment with colors and jig weights, and trolling speeds.
Hope to see you on the water
