RE: What Equipment do you recommend?

Give me a call or drop me a line. I will be glad to answer any questions you may have on the topic. There is really too much info for me to type. The U-rig is VERY effective when used properly.

Thanks Mike. Think I saw you on the water about 2 weeks ago. Do you have a red and silver boat? I was in the Ranger Reata 1850 with the inclosed top. It rained almost all day. That was a tuff day. There were 8 or 9 boats fishing live bait that day. I never saw any of them put a fish in the boat. We did manage to put 13 in the boat with 4 keepers. They were running a little smaller than what we had been catching. 3 of the keepers were in the 10 pound range and 1 around the 15 mark. We have really caught some quality fish over the past month. When I get caught up around here I will update the website with some pics of the 20+ pounders we caught. I took my employee and her husband one day and they put a 22,23, and a 26 pounder in the boat. If you have any you would like to send me I will post them as well.

I have been striper fishing for secveral years now and have to say that the new Striper Spinner Jigs, by Cumberlandpro Lures, has been a great asset to my fishing.
Try the new U-rig and experiment with colors and jig weights, and trolling speeds.
Hope to see you on the water

Yep, that was us. In the Red and silver Triton. I'm going to have to find somebody to make me a top for that boat. Thank God for whoever invented the rain suit. We've fished all winter and caught a ton of fish. We caught several over 20 right before Christmas, but lately everything has been in the 10-14lb range. Going to hit it in the morning if the ice storm doesn't get us. LOL. Brian, it looks like I'm gonna need some help, as we got blanked that day. Marked a lot of fish, but caught nothing. Tried the ounce rigs and the 2 ounce rigs. Heard you went to Weiss the other day. They are catcthing Stripers around the mouth of Yellow Creek. As for crappie, my mother and brother had 44 keepers last Sunday. Little River area. I told Ralph the spot. So hopefully he'll relay it. Guess I'm gonna need some chartruese rigs after all.
