Thanks for the info, Tim. Actually, I was looking at a crankbait rod of mine last night that is in need of repair. The psastic around the reel seat needs to be replaced, it's cracked and splitting.

Any idea who might do rod repair in the Lexington, Frankfort or Louisville areas?

If you'll scroll thru the prior posts, there was a guy that was listing Rod Repair and seemed real good as far as pricing and knowledge...He even had a few rods shown that he had made and repaired I believe....Someone might remember him and know of the post I'm talking about, it's been within the past 4 or 5 months.....
