Yes we are coming out with a smaller version within the next few months. It will be 2 1/2 inches long. we talked wth the mold guy yesterday and he is making progess. The deep diver will be available at the same time. There are a few shops that carry Smack Tackle. Check out our website for infomation on locale shops that carry Smack Tackle.......smacktackle.com
Peter, I am responding to enquiries about the Gizz 4. If there is a problem, please let me know.

Mean Morone, will these new versions be found on your website sometime soon?
Cool...the smaller versions will be dynamite for smaller bass and when the stripers are feeding on small shad.
Gar, we will offer them on the website as soon as we get the mold back and get geared up for production. I'm reluctant to give dates. Many things can happen, but I am confident that we should be in full production by May. Stay in touch with our website for up to date information.
cumberlandguy1, I know what you mean about the stripers being keyed in on smaller bait. Team Smack was on Lake Cumberland a couple of years ago in the month of March. Stripers were busting and boiling all around the boat and we couldn't get a bite. We had big threadfins and alewives and were throwing lures. Nuttin. I put my rod and reel down and sat on the back of the boat and watched stripers boil right next to the boat. I could see every stripe on the sides of those stripers. If only I had a Gizz back in those days.
LOL...I had that exact same thing happen to me in late October....My uncle had shad colored x raps...I had a Gizz 4. I made 1 cast and was hooked up. He made about 25-30 casts. He ended up netting my fish and not catching anything.
Has anyone had any success with the new Gizz-4 on fish other than stripers? If so, how did you fish it?
I caught a 4 pound smallie on my first cast with one. I'll qualify that by saying that I saw the fish working off a point and cast into his area last fall. Three twitches and I got to see the fish hit the bait. Pretty kool stuff. It runs a little shallow to cast Cumberland with on a regular basis, but it will work if you can get the fish to come to you. I trolled them with no success at that time. But the stripers weren't even hitting live bait being trolled then. I think they are working on a deeper version.
They are working on a deeper version.....the Gizz 4 works very very very very well on the stripers...I've caught many in the jumps and trolling them
