I haven't heard that, but it wouldn't be surprising.
Not many in the lake, but they are there.
They are increasingly common in the Big South Fork.
I heard of one out of Otter Ck. last fall. More on the upper end.
I had a nice one swim through my bait light last year near the dam...It was about 35"
Yes, I was the guy in the boat trying to net it. It was anywhere between 44- 48" long, and about 30 lbs. Try to get that in a bass net!! This is no lie. It was also on lower end of lake. We are still laughing about it.
NIce going Moose....
Give me a yell.
Billy
I checked the web and apparently the guy that caught it was using the new guide service on Cumberland...Mooseknuckle's Junk Fishing Adventures. He specializes in carp, gar, red-eyes, mudcats, and the occasional muskie. He and his other speialized guide, whom we will call Podge, or Bubba, are truly masters in their field!!!!!! I use them quite a bit throughout every season. Hell all you have to do is call them they are on stand-by 24 hours a day and they will even come to the dock and pick you up. By the way Mooseknuckle is also a highly skilled sycamore climber!!!! ha ha ha
