    Ive seen thousands of them in Harrods creek one day by the first bridge,and oh yes i had a friend with me to witness it.All the guys at work thought i was a nut when i told them but i called one of the people down at the falls observatory and she said yep they dont get much bigger than a nickel.Crazy.

    Are they the kind that are not poisonous to people? Antbody have any further info on the type/species?

    They are quite plentiful and are a primary food source for several aquatic species. A research team from Woods Hole Institute recently published photographic evidence of this little-known link in the Lake Cumberland food chain.     Oh yea, well I saw a Stingray the last time I was on Dale Hollow.........I got the hell out of the as quick as possible...
