Hi ,
I plan on putting a Kistler rod and Shimano reel on eBay { Im Merlin5 there } but it will be a bit pricey . You can pick up some good deals on eBay if you use bidding software . Do you need spinning or casting gear ?

Anyone have any quality used rods or reels that they are wanting to sell?
Thanks,

I'll check out your stuff on e-bay but it may be a bit pricey for me.
Is there a fee associated with bid software on e-bay? I've bought a couple of reels and some tackle on e-bay but shipping seems to be a bit pricey. I thought if I could buy local I could forego shipping costs and have a chance to look before I buy.
I'm looking for casting gear.
Rods: 7'6"MH and 7'0" & 6'6" M
Reels: low profile 5:1 and 6:1

Hi ,
Ebay charges no fee for using the software and its legal . I use software called Auction Sentry , my buddy uses Snipe Monkey , just do a Google for auction sortware and try some . It will place your bid for you seconds before the auction ends so you wont get in a bidding war . For desent reels Ive heard that Pflueger reels are good but I really like Shimano baitcasters . I still use an old Bantam Mag 10X SG reel because they are smooth and cast far , you can find ones un-used in the box on eBay every now & then if you watch . For rods if I want to save money and still have good quailty I would go with a high end Berkley rod - Bonixs or Series One from Wal-mart so if you break it they almost always give you a refund which is a big plus .
