State Officials to Discuss Lake Cumberland/Wolf Creek Dam Following Meeting with Army Corps of Engineers Friday

Second in a Series of Meetings Requested by Governor Fletcher



(Frankfort, KY) – Governor Ernie Fletcher has directed that representatives from his office meet with officials with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers this Friday. Also scheduled to attend the meeting will be top officials from the Commerce Cabinet, the Department of Tourism, the Department of Fish and Wildlife, the Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet, the Transportation Cabinet, Military Affairs and Emergency Management.



The meeting is to discuss ways the state may be able to help lesson the impact of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers lowering of the water level at Lake Cumberland for dam repairs. Representatives will meet with the media following their private meeting.
