    Louisville Boat Show

Trying to decide if I am going to the boat show today. Anything new, or just the same ole things? I am not in the market for a new boat, but I do enjoy looking at the new updated boats and electronics, and picking up Tournament schedules.

I went Sat with 3 friends, after the KBF meeting we browsed around for about 3 hrs. Lots of pretty shiny boats, just don't look at the prices!!!!!. I found a couple of booths for electronics, as I'm in the market for one after mine died friday, the Lowrance rep was the most helpful, i think the other was B&J Marine.

    Re: Louisville Boat Show

I was there Sat for a while and it was okay. About the same as it has been for the last few years. Plenty of boats and campers, and shy on the fishing tackle. I did pick up some tubes at the Prowler booth, but didn't see any deals too good to pass up. Not the vendors' fault though, those booths are very expensive.

It's the only way I can afford to take my wife and daughter on a yacht.

LOL! Ain't that the truth!!! I'll probably save my $$$ for the Jim Strader Expo at the end of next month. You pretty much answered what I was curious of, good deals.

Thumbs down Re: Louisville Boat Show

I think the show is smaller than in years past. I also think that there are more ski boats than fishing boats. The fishing tackle is definitely down. I hope the next show is better.

    Question Hey Matt

I would like to know if you think the turn out for the show is down? It has to start effecting turn out. I can also remember when they had speakers everyday that had me wanting to go everyday and I would go multible times just to hear the different seminars. Is there a better show around that is more like the old show?

They are located in the corner when you go in go to the back left corner. Matts in one corner and the bass tank is in the other on that end.
