    Hey APB...

You have quite a bit of information worth sharing when it comes to Stripers. I was wondering what kind of experience you have with fishing for Stripers in the Cumberland River...I'm not looking so much for equipment and technique information, but would like to know know which months you'd consider to be the "prime" months to fish for Cumberland River Stripers. And also, what sort of effect do you think the flow of the river has on the Stripers?

    Thanks in advance!

I've been on the Cumberland River a few times, but have yet to catch a striper there. I'm probably not your best source of info for that river. I do know from fishing for Stripers elsewhere that they really like current. The more current, the better. Prime months, I would guess, would be April-May (spawn time) and July-August (hot water time). Most of the stripers in the river come out of Cordell Hull Reservior so those times are when I would expect stripers to be migrating into the river. Probably others on the board who could supply a whole lot more useful info than me.
