GPS/Sounder Question

I am in the market for a color GPS/Fishfinder. I am willing to spend $700+. I fish approx 50 days per year. I am looking for a GPS to mark hotspots and to help me travel at night. What do you guys suggest for me? Thanks in advance!

I'm in the same situation, here is what I'm lookin at,
Lowrance 527c DF Igps
Or Lowrance 339c DF Igps

Both these units are color, dual freq transducer,and Internal GPS Antenna, and also 4000watts of power. They both are around $699 with the skimmer transducer.They also allow for the Hot Spots or Avionics chips. If you are a KBF member you can get a GOOD discount thru them.Go to Lowrance.com and you can compare the differrent units.

700+? How much is that Plus sign worth? If it's worth another $300 bucks then go for the new Humminbird Sidescanning sonar unit. It's the BOMB as far as sonar units.

Seriously if I had an extra spare $1000 it would be the first thing on my list of fishing things to buy

Second on my list for $1000 would be the Pentax new Digital SLR camera. DX10 with camera steadying tech and dust capturing technology and true 10 mega pixel capacity.

Third on my list of big ticket items is a new faster computer.
