I agree we need to share more of our personal profiles. We probably are around each other all the time at the lakes and just dont know it.

I know Phoenix well he is a friend of mine. And for what its worth no your not stupid, but check with me again sometime.

You have to be careful. I was on many forums using the same Userid a few years ago. Another guy got nasty with somebody I had known a long time, and I came to his defense. The A-hole found me on several other boards and harassed me constantly. He got my email address and phone number too. Couldn't control himself and wound up with a visit from a local police officer because he made threats. I'm extra cautious now. I've seen people who seemed fine come unhinged over something trivial like a remark about their avatar and go off the deep end.

That's really sad, i guess all it takes is one goofball to ruin the party, right.I guess that is another reason to kinda know who you are talkin to. At least maybe if you knew in advance who you were dealing with, you could chose your words a little better as to not provoke problems. Evidently it is like you say, this is fairly common on a lot of boards, I think hiding behind a nickname makes some people be a lot more free with their language than they would face to face. I hope there isn't any of that kind of stuff on this board, I've only been on here for a few weeks, and so far all has been good. Thanks for your reply

My name, phone number, address has been public on the site since 1995 and no problems. I don't know. You gotta do what works best for you though.

If somebody pushes the limit, we have no problem posting their IP address and time of the post to the public.
