I am some what fimiliar with that area and I will tell you what I know/have found out.

In the Jamestown/State Park area they are 4 boat ramps that I am aware of. The one up in Clifty/Greasy creek area should be high and dry. That ramp is 3/4 the way up that creek so it would be safe to asume it has no water. I have not been there so that is my assumption.

Ramp at Jamestown Resort and Marina is down to one lane and a little rough but still useable. Talked to them yesterday. There # is 270-343-5253

Ramp at State Dock was closed years ago. Last time I was at that ramp 4-5 years ago I dont believe you could unload because of the new addition they made at the rental dock.

Pumpkin Creek Ramp...alot of people refer to this as the State Park Ramp. This is the ramp located 2/3 the way down the road into the State Park. You will turn left off the State Park road onto PUMPKIN Creek boat ramp road. That ramp is closed due to a rock silde on the bluff wall. They are currently working on the road/bluff and I was told the road would not be open until April per gentelman behind the desk at State Park 270-343-3111. I did ask if the ramp would be useable at the new lower pool level once the road is opned back up and his response was...I dont know nobody can get down there to check it out the road is closed.

That is all I know about that area on the Lake. Best bet would be to use one of the phone numbers I provide and call before you leave out.

Now somebody answer this for me...Is Halcombs Landing (ramp at the dam) open or closed I have been getting second hand information that say yes and no ?
