World Record Smallmouth on Photo Board

Go to the photo board and view the World Record Smallie, and the man that caught it. This was a real treat to meet him and see his fish !

That looked like it would have been interesting. Now that you were up close and personal, you should know what a 12 pounder looks like when I put one in the boat.

That fish is MASSIVE! My biggest Smallie is only half that size at 6pounds 4 ounces. Does anyone know where and when this fish was caught?

First let me say i think it is wild that you don,t know about that smallie-That fish was caught at Dale Hollow lake in 1955 some say ky side some say tenn side whos knows for sure but the guy who got it---You can see a bigger picture on the front page of Fishin .com

If you are referring to the picture in my avatar, that is not the record fish. Go to the Photo Board, click on PHOTOS, at the top of this page, then the new self load photos, VIEW HERE, there are 3 pics posted there of the World Record. The picture in my avatar is my 8lb 2oz fish caught in 1988.

Was sitting here trying to remember. I guess what threw me off was the photo. I didnt know if it was a new record. I had never seen a pic of it. By the way, Hats off to Phoenix that is a Big Brown, Congrats!
