it's was frozen in places Monday. Frozen at Narrows ramp, but you can put in at state. Water temp was 34, the highest I saw was 37. Anyone who knows how to catch bass in 34 degree water, post how to here.

Shakey head, Kalin's grub, drop shot, live shiner. Not necessarily in that order. You might fish all day for 1 or 3 bites though. Granted, they don't eat very often in water that cold, but they gotta eat sometime.

I'd guess Baileys Point is not froze over, but Peninsula is. Call Ranger Bob's at 270-622-6160 and they should be able to tell you what's froze and what ain't.

With the predicted rain, and warmer weather the water temp should rise a little by Friday. Wish I could go with you.

Prolly be plenty of deprived fishaholics out this weekend.

I didn't see that condition mentioned in the post I was referring to, but why not. The FnF mimics a minnow in cold water. Wouldn't it stand to reason that they would act about the same whether it was stained or not?

I would have to say Silver Buddy and a Jig I would fish the clearest water I could find.

if all the same visability find the warmest its sposta rain and be warmer maybe the run ins will make it warmer where they're coming in.
