Ky. Boy wins Bassmaster Junior World Championship!!!!

Okay I am sitting here at home hoping to get a call from a young man who is getting to fish today on Logan Martin in Alabama for the Bassmaster Junior World Championship.

Congratulations to Kalim Tippitt for winning the Bassmaster Junior World Championship from here in Knetucky.

I will have to say this young is one of the finest young men I have ever met once again CONGRATS to Kalim.

Thanks for the link when I post the first time they did not have it up yet he called right after the weigh in. Glad to see a young man like Kalem win he is a super person and I really enjoy fishing with him.


Kalem won the state tourney on Nolin to get him to Logan Martin and a chance to win this tourney. That is where I met Kalem and Roger his father in 2005. If any of you get a chance you should check the schedule of the youths and check out the tourney and weigh-in's when they are on your local lake. They will surprise you with thier knowledge and understanding of fishing and how much information they can soak up. If you get a chance you should check out the Youths I think you will glad you did.

Hey Mark, Kalem called me after I talked to you. They have decided to stay in Ala. until after the classic. Boy was he excited! Good job Kalem. Roger was even more excited.

Yes he is and he should be. I have talked to him three times this evening. I called and told him that if he could get to a computer and the web they had the tourney info and winner posted. I ask him if he was ready for bed yet, I do not think he or Roger will sleep tonight.

It is awesome and like I stated earlier he is one of the finest young men, I still call him a kid, that I have ever met. I can not think of a better repersentive for our young bass anglers here in Kentucky

His parents are super also, they are all just good people.
