I usually go down in may but due to some circumstances I might have to go in march. I just want to know when the water temp, hits 50 can you start catching smallies in creeks or up in coves. Will be fishing out wolf river resort. Usually fish from pass thru up toward wisdom dock and by eagle cove marina.Can I use spinnerbaits or what should I use. Not going to water temp hits 50. Hopefully in a couple of weeks with the warm temps expected. Never been in march but any info will be greatfully appreciated.

I would think jerkbaits, floating fly, jigs would be the norm at 50 degrees which should happen a few weeks. Where to fish? I would just watch this board for the latest info. Maybe tail spinners.
