I need to thank shadrap also for the fly's and bobber that he gave my little one. Good people are few and far between anymore. Stoner creek is in the future shadrap..

Billy, I've been meaning to log on here and thank you from my son CJ for the hand tied craw jig you gave him over at Backwaters a couple of weeks ago. He was over there with my buddy Darrel while I was stuck at work and you guys were kind enough to talk to him and send him home with that great looking jig. He's kept it in the glove compartment of the car and just about every time we get in there he has to get it out and talk about all the smallmouth he's going to catch with it. If you ask him what he wants to be when he grows up it's either a professional fisherman or a fishing guide, as long as he drags old dad with him it's fine by me.
We are heading down to Cave Run tailwaters tomorrow morning rain or shine so I'm sure he'll have to try his jig out.
All you guys that haven't been to backwaters lately you should stop in and see them, just a bunch of real friendly fishing smart guys.
Thanks again. Ted Barnes

Tell both little fellows there's more where those came from.
I always try to give a kid something when I'm in the baitshop tying or I just have my fly/jig boxes with me.
Thanks a lot Ted. I'm going to be Darrell's neighbor in a couple of months and he and I will be in the two-man boat on the North Fork.
BanditMan I'll have to get with you in the fall. WHen I come back from Dale I'll be in full"MOVE MODE". Hope to get lined out by Labor Day weekend.
Billy
Billy, you don't want to hang around old Darrel too much, he's the only crazy SOB that will go fishing with me and CJ any time we want. Like at Cumberland when it was 10 degrees out or tomorrow when it will be raining...
CJ's trying to hook his first musky, hopefully tomorrow it will happen.
When you get done with your move you'll have to holler at me on here or just let Darrel know and we'll all get down to the river. We usually average 100-150 fish a piece per day, not all of them smallies of course but enough of them to keep it interesting. Thanks again, Ted
