Re: Swindle Day 2 Catch DQ'd

"He got into it with Zell Roland over his spot a year or two ago. I lost a lot of respect for him when he did that. He should have come off pad and idled through. He got what he deserves. I don't think him joking with Trip got him an enhanced penalty."

He is a hothead and a spoiled brat. Just like alot of people that fish these tours. They havent worked a honest day in their life. I dont know what he did for a living or what his background is, but I can tell you what I see....a spoiled brat. I know a guy that is fishing the FLW that hasnt won a local tourny in his life. Did I miss something? Shouldnt you have to earn your way in, through some form of effort/dues? Terry McWilliams would be a perfect example of the way you should pay your dues.

I saw that with Zell...when he ran over to Zell and started chewing him out. He didnt even lift his trolling motor...dragging it on plane. Jerry Mckinnis and the other host even said Zell was fishing it the day before and had it on film.

This guy is all mouth.... run by me that close and I will chase your %ss down. I will report you after I beat the $%ll out of you.

Way to close! Not just to Howell....but the spectators. When there is a tourny going on, the tourny doesnt own the water! Everyone has a right to be there and state watercraft laws should be enforced.

He should be fined by Alabama Watercraft!

Re: Swindle Day 2 Catch DQ'd

There are two faults in the situation......

    1. The spectator boats are at fault because they had the main channel blocked

    2. Swindle should have slowed down to get through the mass of boats

The main channel is like a highway......you wouldn't just sit around in the middle of a highway would you?! Those spectator boats and media boats being scattered throughout the channel is no different than a bunch of kids playing in the middle of the road.....they shouldn't be there, but yet you have to slow down to be safe.........

I don't think it was a matter of a fishing spot or attitude towards Howell, but rather a matter of people blocking his path of travel!

Swindle should have slowed down, but at the same time the spectators should have left an open path for navigation!

    1st:

How do you know that was the channel? They mentioned it, but do you know it for fact?

    2nd:

If I want to hang out in the channel and fish, I have the right to. Or if I want to anchor in the channel, I have the right to. The spectators are not driven by Tournament ethic or privledge.

    3rd:

I saw the video 20 times... I never saw Howell flag him on. Randy even stated..." he shouldnt have done that"

If a boat wants to anchor and fish for catfish in the main channel, he has the right to. You have the responsibility to maneuver your boat past the other boat in a safe manner.

Your right on about that, i forgot he was on there. Chigger was the best! One thing i have learned about people is that these guys who want to joke all the time and be the local funny guy are always the first to get offended when you start in on them or they don't get their way, just like Gerald.
