Report On The Way

Wow that wind was strong today it tried to blow me out of boat all 238 LB. s of me lol--Now to the fish got three hits today got two fish one 2.5 and 3.2 lb. on a jig--tried and tried the fnf not one darn hit wow --Yes Wormin on that ugly jig lmbo--I tried to fish my best spots but to much wind 2 foot rollers on cedar it was amazing -the shocker of the day was got those fish in less than 5 ft. of water--for some reason those fish come in that area first water 39 degrees an that spot has been good to me 3 yrs runnin--Got two 4lb.s last year there---Water was 39 to 41 today--Now for the fun part bye myself most of day around two o'clock three guys show up at the middle ramp small boat had the engine cover off they were running around trying to get the thing to run right it would go and then stop on them-about 4 o'clock i was at mid lake getting ready to run back in the creek---Not better go check on them guys sure enough there they were blown up on a point water was pounding them to death it was a sight to see wow--With some hard work and my boat taken gallons of water i got them out and back to the ramp.ALL three of them looked like they seen a ghost lmbo still--That will learn em not to do that on a bad windy day again lol The end

We were stuck on a point one year around the middle ramp and the wind was kicking our butts, so i know how it must have felt!! Our motor was ok but we just didn't pay attention. Good job on getting out today...

Hey biggw, that's just karma....you helped those guys out and karma tossed a couple fish at you today in return. lol

It's good to know that there are folks out there who will lend a helping hand. My Dad always taught me to do the same thing, because it might be me on the other end needing it in return some day.

I call that The Good Lord working through someone to help someone else. A buddy and I got in a real pinch back in 1994 while fishing Stick Marsh in Florida. The boat petered out on us, we had no battery left, and the wind blew us through a tree line and into a huge mess of floating hydrilla. Buddy, we were 100% stuck and out of luck! About 2 minutes after saying a prayer, a boat slowly passing by saw us, threw us a rope and helped us out. At this point it was almost dark and we were fixing to spend the night on Stick Marsh with the skeeters and gators... Now, here's the kicker... The 3 guys who rescued us were from London, KY.
