rough river lake

going to rough river sat. any clues on where to go to find fish. i will be with my kids on my new boat for the first time. and they r excited my 4 year old said he is going to catch a big bass. i just hope we catch a bass. and my 7 year old is ready to go out on the boat because this is my first boat. so any help will be helpful.

I like south fork this time of year. Be careful I hear there was still a bunch of ice on the lake. If the weather stays warm it could melt by then. Just becare with those children in the boat this time a year.

i heard it was going to get cold i might wait to go as much as i would like to. be to cold for the kids and i wont be able to leave without them throughing a fit if u know what i mean.

Good call.......you want to make sure their first time out is a good one, that way they'll want to go again! Seems like a lot of kids that don't like fishing usually had a bad first experience........

they have bin fishing and love it. my 4year old is ate up worse then me. he watches all my videos and he watched all the classic. but he has never fished off a boat yet. i cant wait to see his face when where out there. and he catches one.

Nothing like taking your kids fishing for the first time. I have two girls 12 and 5 yrs old and both stay out past midnight fishing with me. What more could a Dad ask for!
