fish finder problems

I have a Eagle Fish Mark 320. It's about 2 yrs old. I just was bragging last week how good it was and no problems with it??? I fished Saturday and it started out working fine and after a few minutes it just went to reading 0.0 flashing and showing nothing. I've had this happen one other time but I just turned it off and then back on and it started working fine however I couldn't get it to work Sat. Anyone have any ideas what maybe wrong???

I use Lowrance X-51s (2) on my boat and experienced the same problem with the in-dash unit. I could turn it off and back on but then it would do the same thing just a few minutes later. Long story short, I took it off and took it to the dealer where I purchased my boat and they sent it off for repair. Now it works fine.

I had a garmin that did something like that and it was my transducer.

I had one do that one time.....it turned out to be a little bit of corrosion on my wire connection.......I redid the connection and it's been fine ever since!
