I wouldnt take one wheel off and run on three wheels. Bass boats are heavy and that would have to be a lot of stress in some odd places where stress shouldnt be. I would remove both wheels from the one single axle and then go to the nearest place to perform repairs.
yep, burned a bearing out in arkansas one time, took one of the safety chains off, strung the axle up and limped back to KY on 3, no worries
I can tell you from experience, the best thing to have during a breakdown on the road is a credit card LOL!
Had a blown motor on Lake Kissimmee, actually on Lake Cypress and had to use my trolling motor for over an hour to get back. It s u c k e d because i had all that time to think about how expensive this was going to be. Back then i was making $12 or so per hour and it really taxed my bank account!
