Now I don't know much about quantum physics, but he was saying that everything is connected. He was saying that if he gets cut off by another boat, it happened for a reason - that reason being that he's not supposed to fish there. If he gets hung up, it happened for a reason......he was saying that you must figure out the reason it happened - an example was that he got hung up, and in freeing his lure saw a submerged log a few yards away that he wouldn't have seen otherwise....he made a cast around the stump and hung into a keeper....that kind of stuff.....
I think I'd like to spend the day with the guy and see how he is.....it could be his mindset that got him the title of bass fishing's greatest angler of all time.....

After reading that, I'd agree with jcb in that it sounds more like metaphysics than quantum physics. But in principle I agree with the thought process. My old team partner and I had a similar laugh over that approach. It was called "the window of opportunity". It occurred anytime the guy in front hung his bait and had to go in and get it. Instead of getting upset because of having to waste some time and go get the bait, that created "the window" for the guy in back to make a nice shot parallel down whatever part of the bank he chose (usually the part we hadn't quite fished yet). If it resulted in a keeper, the ribbing didn't stop for a while![]()
This same partner had another little quirk that I eventually learned to appreciate. Seemed he had this predisposition for bobbers. Didn't matter how important the tourney, if he found a "run away" bobber along the bank somewhere he'd drop everything and go and get it for his collection. After he passed away, I decided to adopt the same philosophy, partly as my way of remembering him, but more importantly as a reminder that tourneys aren't 'life and death' affairs, and that it doesn't hurt to take a minute out of your day, no matter how hectic, to enjoy the moment.

Keeping a positive attitude is important for success in all things you do.
You can control your thinking,heartbeat,breathing.
Is praying,Giving thanks. Quantum Physics? Some think its out of the
realm.
I am bringing my Physics book with me to the March Madness Tournament at Rough River. I will probably be the difference between winning and losing.
The techniques described by the fish whisperer are not new. They have been used by the mystics for centuries. Gibran, Roberts, Castaneda, Casey, etc, etc, etc have used and described these techniques and principles. They are ages old. They started in the garden when the enemy said "did God really say"?
