Rough River

Cabin Fever is abundant here in Indianapolis. I've been out on the ice a bit but I'm a big guy and with the little bit of warm up and rain we've had I'm done with the ice.

I'm considering heading down to Rough River in the next couple of weeks but I'm curious as to the conditions of the lake? Can anyone give me any advice? I'm assuming there isn't any ice but any information/suggestions you can make would be greatly appreciated.

According to what I have read, there was still ice on rough River last weekend. With the warm weather we have been having, it should be about all gone. suppose to get up t around 64 degrees on Thursday.... Maybe it might be nice in a few more weeks to fish there for ya....

I know that the ice is gone but as far as the fishing goes I have no idea. i haven't talked to anyone that's fished it recently.

Going this Saturday to fish the Hoosier Hills open. I plan to catch some good fish too. The big egg laden wenches should be starting to feed.
