I am planning a trip to Reelfoot Lake in June can anyone help with info about fishing for bass and boating there? I know it is extremely shallow so I will probably putt-putt everywhere I go.
Thanks

Putt Putt is exactly right. The lake is full of underwater stumps. They have "navigational ditches" marked with stakes that stick up but they are tricky. Use caution. Aluminum boats are much better down there. Fish the ditches and cypress trees with spinnerbaits. I also had a fair amount of luck with a jerkbait in the spring. Be careful, I have actualy beached my boat down there on a large cut off stump.
