    Question Puck Transducer

    I have an old puck transducer epoxied in the bottom of my boat that I need to replace with one for my Humminbird, Whats the best way to remove an old transducer?

    Being that it's epoxyed to the boat, G/L if it doesn't tear a hole in the fiberglass...All I ever did was just leave the old one in and put in the new one in one of my old boats I owned.

    you could try to give it a single sideways blow with a medium hammer. it might just pop free. I've heard of people doing that. I have an onld one in my bilge right now, I'm cosidering that on, because I need to mount a sep transducer for a GPS/Graph combo.
