Sorry for the late posting....
The story of the Fri-Sat was Ma Nature and the WIND>>>>>It howled...Am I'm talking it was an early riser....
We got out on the water Fri morning about 6:45. Just a handful of folks.
We hooked up with 5 fish and boated 3. The wind kicked up about 9:45am and never let up.
Bje hooked up first only to have it come off. About 30 minutes later he hooked up again and caught this one.

I followed suit with a hookup and unbutton followed by a button up and net.

After this fish it was all we found on Fri. We were on fish, but so was the wind. We ran up lake looking around. We rounded the bend and came past first island and hit 3+ft rollers....SCREW THAT....back down the lake we came.
Got back to the ramp and headed to dinner. Would like to that Wile E for the ride into town. We had a nice supper. It was good to sit down with folks and eat. Bob Coan joined us along with his son. We had some folks show up for Ohio. It was the first time on the lake. One young man didn't have a rod and reel to use. So Bob offered him one up right there in the resturant. A stand up move by a classy fellow.
It was decided there that the number of folks/wind/tv crews that a tourney wasn't fitting this time.
Got up real early Sat morning. We were pulling out of Horse Creek at about 5:45 and there was already some slight chop on the water. We headed back to where we fished Fri morning. We had 4 hookups in 30 min....Landed two of them. The leaf/limb free flloating piles played havoc on landing some of these fish.
I did manage a decent one before the wind really cranked up...

We came back to the Marina about 11am. We all decided to do a late breakfast and get out on the water. Once we came bac the weather channel confirmed that the wind was here to stay. We also found out that it was snowing in Ky...SO we packed it in.
Would like to thank my fishing partner, BJE. Thanks for the trip man.
Would like to the Stephen Headrick of Punisher for taking time to always talk to us.
Would like to thank Bob Coan for sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience. One thing I like about Bob is that he don't mince words. You ask him a question, by golly, you'll get an answer. Also the fact he gave someone a pole to use and didn't know them from Adam. Stuff like that goes a long way and is not quickly, if ever, forgotten.
Would like to thank Thomas at Horse Creek for the hospitality.
And would like to thank Jim. He once again provided us with an atmosphere with new friends.
Come on December....Elnut and I have some unfinished business...LOL!!!!
