Fished Beaver Creek most of the day. Had planned on pulling boards for stripers but to much wind. Beached the boat on a transition bank about half way back to the marina...Set shiners out, ten minutes later BAM, 4 1/2 lb. smallie...Pictures taken and released.. only fish of the day. Water temps. were 42.7 on the first bank and 45.0 further up the creek where the muddy water was coming in. I very seldom get cold when I'm out in winter, but today the wind would cut right through you. Cut my day short around 2.pm. Any day fishing is a good one but the wind made it feel like the coldest day of the year so far!!
