Tomorrow will be my first time fishing Fisherman's Park, but at Miles, which is an almost identical pond, they seem to take minnows better than anything else. And I've found that #8 hooks with a long shank work well; very few gut-hooks. The biggest trout you can expect to catch is about decent pan-size, with a lot of them barely bigger than fingerlings. There are also largemouth, hybrid bluegill, and catfish stocked in there. I have no idea how big any of those might get. Probably not real big, it's a pretty small lake, a pond, really.
