    I agree with the ledges and bluffs I also like to use them on bright sunny days at the very end of a long point you can't fish these too slow

    I dont think there is ever a bad time to pick up the shakey head. It can be fished at any depth, cover or structure, slow or fast. I always keep one tied on with either a tube or a finesse worm. Love to work it around docks. Sometimes the amount of shake will determine the bite, a soft suttle shake is good sometimes, others, rattle it like you are ripping a jig.
