Lake Barkley, Where to put in at 2mro?

I'll finally get to fish it this weekend, and KY lake..... the website for Bumpus mills said the campground is closed til May... My question is, is the boat launch still available there..I called the ph# there but get no answer, prob only get answers after May I guess... If not where else is a good place to put in close to Clarksville.......Thanks

Bumpis Mills ramp is still open. Barkley hasn't been real good lately for me. There is a tournament out of Bumpis on Saturday. I think I would drive down 79 and go up the trace (across the street from McDonalds) and put in at Boswell landing and fish in Panther Bay (KY Lake) all day. It will be on your left hand side going up the trace. Then just follow the road to the lake, lots of signs.
