I have 3 baitcasting set-ups I use primarily and 1 spinning...how would you recommend to set these up. I like to jig fish, crankbait, spinnerbait, and worm fish. Any recommendations would be a great help.

Thanks.
Ahhh the age old question...As with other things there will be a ton of different opinions and all of them are right! I personally like to use mono unless i'm throwing into slop or HEAVY cover and then i like braid. I use 7ft rods and set the hook hard so 14-20lb mono works best for me because it stretches more. My experience with F-carbon has been hit and miss. I don't think i have had more bites with FC but for sure have lost more fish because the line broke. It's a hard line and has more memory and will break easier with a nick or some abrasion on the line, IMO. I'll stick with BPS EXCEL mono because i'm totally comfortable with it.
Try the FC on the jig rod because the line is more sensitive, i would go with 14# mono on the crankbait and spinnerbait but it's really up to your style of fishing. Good luck!
