After a long winter drought with very little fishing I finally made back out to the lake. Water temp on laurel was 49 degrees and climbing and did manage to find some that was 51 degrees. The river section was really muddy and you couldn't see anything 1/2 inch down. The main lake is still as clear as ever. Lot of folks out bank beating ,going thru the motions mainly. Did not boat a fish but a very peaceful day that I really needed to help me unwind. Even got to see a bald eagle fly over the boat and perch itself on a tree limb overlooking the lake. Just don't know if it gets any better than that.
