Nice job , warm weather this week may get em fired up. I know it has me fired up.
wow ----- I don't know which is scarier; driving 436 miles further than you had to or no steering on the boat.... guess it was better you had no steering than it would have been for Swindle at the Classic with that "When you gotta' go, you gotta' go" circus stunt..... sounds like you had a good trip...... oh yeah, no steering on DH would not have been fun either........ tight lines...
Sorry for the short answer last night...
I've been reading the Ike's thread about the shad. Fishunter and I found shad swimming at the dam and also up in one of the arms. BIG SHAD>>>>>.
The water was heavily stained when we got there. SO the boat traffic didn't muddy it up. The further we went up into the arms the cleaner it got. It had dropped from the day before.
Would like to thank Billy NIchols for his "shoveling off" of the ramp. It wassn't to bad yesterday, but Billy said after the rain yesterday it was a bear to get out.
You guys have a great spring/summer down there. I'm in Moving Mode..all stuff was packed up into the camper last night and locked down.
Thanks again to Splitshot and Fishunter for the send off. It's not often you get to fish with 2 Brians in back to back days.
Billy
Ah Billy, a pleasure to be out on the water with you anytime...shoot, were it not for you I'd probably still be row-row-rowing my boat around in circles trying to get to the ramp. LMAO!!!!
There will come a day before long where you need a break for moving. No need to unpack rods and gear...whatever you need is in my boat, so just call.
pleasure was mine Billy, any time you want to fish just hollar. If their's anything i can do to help with the move let me know.
Brian
