Thanks for keeping the reports from the Kentucky Lake area updated. I mostly fish Barren, but your reports seem to verify what I think I see happening here.
I only get over to your part of the world about once a year (for crappie), but I am going to try to hook up with you sometime in the next year or two. Your information seems spot-on to me. I'd like to learn a little more from you.

Thanks for the kind words about my report. You are not the first person to tell me they use my report on Ky/Barkley and apply it to Barren Lake. Hope you make that trip over here with me one day.

Dave, where do you normally put in on KY Lake??

I don't have any certain put in ramp. I guide from the dam to Paris on Ky Lake and from the dam to Dover on Barkley so I jump off at a number of different ramps.

Now on Ky Lake I do launch more at Ky Dam Marina, Ken Lake Marina, and Big Bear Creek most of the time. Occassionally I will launch at Fenton or Sugar Bay.

To me the proof in the pudding of a dealership whether it be boats or cars is the service department. I can't count the number of times that my clients and others have related to me how the folks there at Jet-A-Marina saved their vacation or tournament by going out of the way to help them out. They have always treated me good also over the years....and I did not purchase my Ranger there, although you can bet that I will next time because of the way they have treated me.
