Maintaining Lake Cumberlan Water Levels

The problem with maintaining 680 at C-land, is that they will probably flood Dale Hollow, because of C-land being priority for water release. The Corp has already informed the marina owners that Dale will be held at least 4 ft over summer pool all summer. The lower parking lot at Hendricks Creek will be gone !. That's tough to deal with, as parking there is very limited anyway. The lake is very close to pool right now, I think it will be a lot more than 4ft over, unless they let C-land go higher.

I don't know how it will affect Dale Hollow as it is not on the Cumberland River.

The only difference in how they manage flows when it rains is that when it does flood, as it did last week, they will aggressively pull as much water as they can to get back to 680.

Dale Hollow does end up in the Cumberland river at Celina. That is why it will effect Dale this year.

It may be an indirect affect. Dale is not on the Cumberland, does is on the Obey, a tributary of the Cumberland. If they are pulling hard at Wolf Creek dam, they cannot pull as hard at Dale or it will put the Cumberland River higher than they want.
