283 --- thanks for the report....guess you and I are the only ones with internet that fish CH --- NOT ---can't figure why most don't post --- I know they're doin' more catchin' than fishin'.....oh well, perhaps they will do so soon.... plan on going this weekend.......... probably goin' to fish mid-lake to lower end........ hopefully this cold front passing will have 'em turned on..... tight lines ..........

Probably a smart thing to do about hitting the hill mid lake and go down if you are in that "tea" where you put in at. Wish I had made that move as soon as I slid the boat in the water. With this cold spell I would say that it wll move them off the bank some alittle deeper. A jig will probably be your best bet, not as many bites, but the fish that you catch will be of good quality. The bites that I got were just off the main channel going into the pockets, not at the back of them or the creeks. I know what you mean about people NOT posting when they go, sure would help out. That is the first time that I can remember going in the middle of the week in along time and I really liked it. You don't have as many boats out there to contend with, along with all the crazies, but I have to fish alone if I do this cause my partner can't get off like that which is still alright. Good luck if you make it down and be safe, that water is still cold to the touch...283
