I was on Barren Tuesday and Wednesday, the water temps were in the low 50's in the morning and high 50's later in the day. This was around the Narrows Marina, to close to the state dock. The water is a little dingy, from recent rains. If you don't like the color of the water in your area, just head up in a creek and I'm sure it is changing up in the headwaters and probably a little warmer too. Its slightly clearing up in the main lake area but just takes a while. Stay close to the channels when you can, Barren is probably right on track for being this low this time of year but the last few years its probably been a little higher right now.
