could anyone tell us if the ice is gone on summitt lake yet. enough to get a boat out for some early eyes

Went to Summit today, "NO ICE" ,,,

muddy water in the bay that has the creek feeding it.

Rest of the lake is kind of stained. Water is up about 5 ft. flooding into all the buck brush.

At 10:00 a.m. water temps was 38* by 5:00 the muddy water got up to 40*
the stained water stayed 38* all day,,,, even temps all around the lake North bank 38* West bank 38* South bank 38*

One bass caught on a red and orange crank bait in a cove out of the wind the wind BLEW all day.

10 boats were on the lake.

Next week should be better,,, water temps have got to go up before any ''good action"

Anything happining at Summit yet.? I spoke to a retiree yesterday he said the parking lot was full,the ramp was full of trailers, & guys were waiting in line to put in.

He saw one nice bass, as it was held up for a photo. So someone is doing someting correct.

Anyone been there this past week? How did you do?
