West Boggs Water conditions

Just wanted to see what the current water conditions were on boggs. I am thinking about going down this weekend, but I had some friends that went two weeks ago and said the water was really dirty and had almost a coffee ground color to it.

Has the water cleaned up any?
Current water temp?
And anything else one might know that could help decide if I should make the drive?

THe lake is about 3.25 feet below normal pool at this time. The turbidity from earlier rains has settled somewhat, improving clarity. The water remains stained.

Surface temp is about 50 degrees.

The few angler reports avaialbe so far show slow action.

I know there should be several people there Saturday for the Jefferson Township Fire Deparment Tournament on Saturday.

Hopefully the water will be better.
