Heading over to KY Lake this Friday through Sunday and putting in at the Blood River to wet my lines for the first time all year. Looks like it is going to warm up in the 70's towards the end of the week. Any suggestions on what creeks to hit or stay on the main lake? Anyone know if bass have started to move in the shallows also?

I'll be prefishing on friday and fishing a club tourney on saturday. I'm so excited, i can't wait....
If it was anything like last weekend you will get your arm broken! We caught several 6 pounders and tons of 4 pounders using medium running crankbaits and small jerk baits... Youll have a blast...
We have had some banner bite days so far this month and some nasty slow post frontal days too....typical of March fishing here. On the warmer days like we are getting this week a number of fish are moving in shallow to feed so pay close attention to that pattern this weekend with the forecasted warm weather but don't forget the primary pattern on the points and creek channel banks on the main lake and in the front areas of the creeks and bays, when those fish are on the big bags are coming in.

Thanks that was the exact kind of advice I was looking for!
that's what i was planning on doing. i've been stuck on barkley the last few weeks with tourneys and listening to my buddies talk about tearing them up on ky lake. just breaks my heart.
