Bring the water up!!!

I'm sure KY/Barkley are on fire and if they'd bring the water up into the flowers/ bushes you'd get your arm broke. They're holding it over 3ft low. Surely they won't wait until mid April to bring it up. These fish are ready to bed! I know the Corp doesn't care anything about the fish but you'd think the KY fish & wildlife would.

I am told that most area lakes are on hold to come up because of the cumberland situation. since they cant help with flood control the others have to be ready to hold all thier water so cumberland can be left wide open

Actually the bass are not quite ready to spawn here yet...there is more to spawning than just water temps such as length of daylight and even our base water temps are not quite at the temps the majority of the bass spawn at here, but we are not far from it. If the TVA (which controls the water levels here) stays on their normal operating system curve we should start seeing the water rise sometime around mid week. Looking at the extended weather forecast...we are going to return to more normal temperatures around mid week...with some daytime highs in the 50's and night time temps in the 30's...this should stabilize our water temps and may even drop them a degree or two. I do think we may see the spawn a week or so early this year.
Some early spawners are already going to bed...but this happens every year but normally around the end of the first week of April...before the water gets into the buck brush and flowers.

Just my opinion here, taken from comparing my fishing logs from the past 15 years to what is going on out there with the water temps this year.
