Went to Nolin today. Launched from wax, and fished from wax to Conoloway.
Water was anywhere from Murky to stained. Temps were 61-64 degrees. Maybe 5 feet above winter pool.
The bass bite was good early, but they were all small fish. Never could find any bigger fish. I hear that Dave Petigo caught all of the big fish in Nolin yesterday. Someone told me he weighed in 25 pounds in a tournament.
Once we got into Conoloway, we started Crappie fishing. The bite was kind of slow, but they were all quality fish. We caught about 20, and only 3 of them were short. Several nice slabs.
